UPCOMING CAREER FAIR: 2011-07-13 Recruiters are cordially invited to participate in the Department of Defense (DoD) Hiring Heroes Career Fair for wounded, ill and injured service members, Veterans, their spouses, family members and primary caregivers on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Mesa Staff Noncommissioned Officers’ Club, Camp Pendleton, CA. The official registration website for this Hiring Heroes Career Fair is now open! Booth space is limited, so it is important to register early.
The primary focus will be on job opportunities for wounded service members as they embark on their transition to civilian life. Service members have excellent knowledge, experience and military training, along with tremendous leadership and team building skills. Please come with jobs to offer for all levels of experience and education.
To offer the best possible service to our wounded warriors/Veterans/spouses, participating organizations must have actual jobs to offer or provide individualized support services (examples: Veteran Service Organizations, Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program).
